Kit - AirWard Twin Cessna Elevator Trim Tab Control Hardware Replacement
AirWard has developed a Kit for complying with Airworthiness Directive 2016-07-24 and Cessna Multi-engine Mandatory Service Bulletin MEB-27-02.
The Kit applies to the following aircraft (all serial numbers):
310 thru 310R, E310H, E310J, 310J-1, T310P thru T310R;
320 thru 320F, 320-1
335
340, 340A
401 thru 401B
402 thru 402C
411, 411A
414, 414A
421 thru 421C
The Kit consists of the following items:
2 each NAS6203-8D (replacement for NAS464P3-8) - Close Tolerance - 10/32 Thread - .823 Overall Length - Drilled Shank;
2 each NAS6203-9D (many reports of NAS6203-8D is too short for installing Cotter Pin and allowing the bolt to rotate) - Close Tolerance - 10/32 Thread - .866 Overall Length - Drilled Shank;
6 each NAS1149F0332P (AN960-10L) - Flat Washer - #3 - Thin (extra washers if needed for longer bolts);
2 each MS17826-3 - Nut, Castellated - Low Profile - Nylon Insert - 10/32 Thread;
2 each MS24665-132 - Pin, Cotter - 1/6" Diameter - 1/2" Effective Length;
1 each Copy of Airworthiness Directive 2016-07-24;
1 each Copy of Cessna Mult-engine Mandatory Service Bulletin MEB-27-02;
1 each Copy of Letter to FAA from Tony Saxton - Director of Tech Support - The Twin Cessna Flyer - dated April 8, 2016.
